Elektra 9 60269
made in West Germany for US and international markets
color scheme: reddish orange background with silver paint reticle and lettering
genre: rock
LP originally released in 1983

MADE IN WEST | | GERMANY BY POLYGRAM.
Matrix number: 7559 60269-2 2893 533 01 # (all disc variations have the same matrix number)
There are two (minor) color variations of this disc. One has a matte reddish orange
background of the type usually found on target discs (a), while the other has a bright
almost iridescent orange color (b). The latter can also be found with or without the
inscriptions MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO HANOVER (c) or MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO (d) etched around the center hole.
Known suffixes: (b) none, BN; (c) BT; (d) BY
That makes four total disc variations that I am aware of.

Front cover of the eight-page booklet.
Page six states "Printed in West Germany"
Page seven states "Manufactured by PolyGram in Hanover, West Germany."

Rear tray insert "Printed in West Germany" with barcode.
"9 60269-2" is printed on the reverse.
Only rear inlay known to contain this target CD.
It is very hard to see in this scan, but trust me, it says "Printed in West Germany"
in very tiny red letters to the right of the Elektra logo.

Notes: This target CD is somewhat hard to find. It will take some searching.
