No major variations that I know of.

Front cover of the twelve-page booklet.
Page 11 reads "Manufactured by JVC, Japan. Printed in Japan."

Rear tray insert, "Printed in Japan" with barcode.
Only tray inlay known to contain this target disc.
It is interesting to note that the inlay for the silver stock version usually, but not
always has the catalog number "24026-2" printed on the inside.
The inlay for the silver paint version, while outwardly identical, does not have
the catalog number printed on the reverse.

Notes: This disc is fairly common in the U.S.
In most of the rest of the world, Geffen was distributed by CBS,
which (with one glaring exception) did not issue target-label discs.

OTHER INTERESTING EARLY CD PRESSINGS OF THIS TITLE:

"Made in Japan. Mfg. by the Victor Company of Japan, Ltd." at 9 o'clock
Known matrix numbers: 9-23026-2-S10E01, 9-23026-2-S10E03, 9-23026-2-S10E04
This non-target disc was distributed in the USA after the target design was discontinued.
These were issued circa 1985.

Rear tray insert "Printed in U.S.A." with barcode.
Nothing is printed on the reverse.
I found the S10E03 and S10E04 discs with these USA inserts, while my S10E01 disc
came with the same "Printed in Japan" inserts (with "24026-2" printed on the reverse) as above.

Geffen CDGEF 25939 (DIDP 193), for distribution in Europe.
"MANUFACTURED BY CBS/SONY INC. IN JAPAN" is printed on the
perimeter at 3 o'clock
"CSR COMACT DISC" (three times) is embossed in the plastic center.
Matrix number: 32DP-193 11A1 +++++
As discussed earlier, Geffen was distributed by CBS at the time, in most of the
world outside of North America. I have'nt compared all the versions to determine
which one sounds better.

The front cover of the hefty 16-page booklet is a little different than the USA version.
Note the Compact Disc logo, among other smaller details.
There are no manufacturing or printing statements.

Rear tray insert "Printed in Holland" without barcode.
The fine print also states "Made in Japan by CBS/Sony"
Note also the French price code under the catalog number.
"01-025939-10" is printed on the reverse.

MADE IN U.S.A. BY WEA MANUFACTURING INC. (with outer mirror band).
Matrix number: 24026-2 SRC-1
This is known by collectors as a first generation (Gen1) WEA/SRC pressing.
These were produced between late 1986 and mid-1987.
This example is quite unusual in that matrix reads "SRC-1" instead of the normal "SRC-01."
Supposedly there exists a Gen0 pressing of this title, but I have yet to find one.
The paper inserts for this one are the same as the USA inserts for the Japanese non-target disc.
