There is another disc variation (not pictured) with MADE IN WEST | | GERMANY on the front
and MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO is etched around the center hole.
I don't have any other information about this variation.
These are the only three known disc variations for this target CD.


Here is a weird error, with the silver paint plate missing. Except for the matrix
number matching the correct disc, and the fact that it plays the correct disc,
you'd never know by looking at it, which Atlantic target disc it is.

Pressed in Japan for distribution in the USA. These examples date to circa 1984 - 1986.

The booklet states "Manufactured by JVC, Japan
Printed in Japan" on page eleven. The discs with an "M" matrix can be found with this tray card.
I found the disc with the "U2E14" matrix with the same USA paper inserts as above.

Same as the target CD. They should have the same mastering.
This Vertigo CD was issued in continental Europe.
This disc design is called a "blue Nautilus" by collectors,
and it comes in two varieties, this one being the second, with black lettering.
The first variety is easily spotted as it has blue lettering.

I found the top two Vertigo discs in these paper inserts.
