MADE IN WEST | | GERMANY BY POLYGRAM
Matrix number: 7559 74007-2 2893 222 01
There are two subtle color variations of this disc. The difference
is hard to tell in a scan, so I won't bother picturing both. The difference
is in the orange background paint. One is the usual matte paint usually seen
on target discs. The other is more like a glossy candy apple orange, almost
iridescent. Unless you are looking for the variation, you would probably miss it.
The latter disc variation can be found with or without MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO
etched around the center hole.
Matrix number: (glossy candy-apple orange variations) 7599 74007-2 2893 222 01
Known suffixes: (no PDO) DF X, (PDO) FA, FC

Note the Gold Record Award seal. This seal was removed when the remastered
version was released in the late 1980s. On the latest remaster, it has reappeared.
Note also that there is a retouched area above the Elektra logo. This will be
found on all booklets printed in West Germany and France. On the Japanese and US
booklets, there is a catalog number in this area.

Notes: This CD (POLYGRAM disc) is fairly common, but there is demand for it, which sometimes
drives up the price at auction. The variations may take some patience.
